About The Speaker
Dr. Richard Mitchell, Senior Scientist, is one of the original founders of Jandel Scientific, and for two decades, has been the principal scientist overseeing the evolution of technology in the Sigma family of scientific software products. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Engineering from Purdue University. His early industrial experience includes working on the Atlas missile system that put John Glenn in orbit and positions in the biomedical engineering field at California Pacific Medical Center. Richard has also served as an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley.
