Single User: Installation of the program purchased under a Single-User License is restricted to one single personal computer owned by or under control of the licensee plus one additional computer also owned by the licensee, e.g.: one computer at home and another at work.
Network Annual: A
network annual license is great
for multiple users to use. Since
it is a network version it can
be loaded onto a network server
that the lab or company may use.
Once loaded the software is available
to anyone on the network, but has
a limited number of concurrent users
depending on the number of licenses
purchased. The license is annual
in that it will expire after 1
year.
Site Annual: A
site annual license is another
great option for multiple users
who may have less of a budget,
don't have network access or
don't want to use a license manager.
An annual site license is like
a network annual license, in
that they both are good for one
year. However, depending on how
many licenses you purchase, you
are able to load on individual
computers, as opposed to a server.
So a 10 user site license can be
loaded on 10 different computers
and has no connection with concurrent
usage.
Perpetual License: We
also offer a perpetual plan to
both the network and site licensing
options. Basically the install
of the network and site stay the
same, but with the perpetual plan
your license will NOT expire. Most
people are probably thinking, why
not just go with the perpetual
and not worry about it expiring?
This is a good thought, if you
have a larger budget and are not
able to commit to an annual lower
amount. You can pay the perpetual price per user and only have to deal with maintenance each year.
